A souvenir from my wife's recent trip to the Pabst Mansion while in Milwaukee. Dig the mid-century illustration vibes. Almost makes me want an icy cold PBR (even though it gives me an instantaneous headache).

An amazing little film for a track off Welsh singer/songwriter Cate Le Bon's recent album Me Oh My.

The Moon speaks (from BBC TV's The Mighty Boosh, which I've been addicted to for several years now).

An amazing little film created by the always inspiring graphic designer Julian House (who also records as The Focus Group and co-founded the Ghost Box record label) for a track off of Broadcast's 2009 release Broadcast and The Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age (which also happens to be my favorite record of 2009).

A brilliant musical recording & video from Moon Wiring Club.

Probably my favorite of all the books I read in 2009. First published in the UK in 1967, the photo on the cover shown above shows a still from the Granada Television adaptation that aired in 1969 (which I've also seen and highly recommend).

These two are the creations of the magnificently talented Fanja Ralison, aka Le Train Fantôme. I purchased an earlier incarnation of Lewis (the rabbit with the 'stache) for my wife as a gift a couple of years ago and she flipped. Do yourself a favor and check out Fanja's website.
